Reefer CROWN RUBY was brought to anchor in Kalundborg Fjord, Denmark after she was found to be leaking oil from a hole in her hull.

The vessel was en route from St Petersburg, Russia to Colon, Panama when her voyage was interrupted.

Local reports suggest the oil leak is a small quantity, but the vessel was forced to postpone the journey until the leak had been investigated.

Reports this morning describe the vessel to be surrounded by booms as a way to prevent further pollution. No other information has been released.

Reefer CROWN RUBY, IMO 9159103, dwt 10338, built 1997, flag Panama, manager Cool Carriers AB, Sweden.
