Seafarers are advised to exercise caution after pirates successfully hijacked a vessel sailing off the coast of Congo.

- Description: On 29th OCTOBER 2018 at 12:50Z, two vessels were under attack in position 04°47’S – 010°07’E (270°/ 102nm of POINTE NOIRE, REPUBLIC OF CONGO).
ONE MV and Crew are SAFE.
SECOND MV is reported as HIJACKED. LAST POSITION at 14:24Z: 04°42S – 010°04E, COURSE 312 SPEED 11.
Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area.
