Vessels transiting near Bonny, Nigeria are being warned to exercise extreme caution after a vessel was subjected to an attack on Sunday 1st July. 

  1. Category: ONGOING ATTACK (Update - MV no longer under attack and is SAFE 1st July 17:18).

 Description: On 01st JULY 2018 at 10:40ZHrs, a vessel is under attack in position 04°08’N – 006°57’E (214°/ 20nm of Bonny, NIGERIA).

Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area.
