One person has died, and the remaining crew members have been quarantined following a suspected disease on a cargo ship.

General cargo ship Blue Tune, was sailing in the Gulf of Corinth, en route from Ravenna Italy to San Nicolas Greece, when the outbreak happened.

The crew reported the unknown disease to Greek authorities, as well as the death of one seafarer, believed to be a cook.

A Greek specialist has excluded the cargo as a cause of poisoning, leading to speculation that there is a contagious disease on board.

The ship was put under quarantine, she was ordered to proceed to Boeotia area, Gulf of Corinth, and wait for a specialists team to board her.
